ASOS have decided to ignore any warning surrounding the Brexit and the impact on the UK economy by announcing a new 1,500 jobs at their Camden London HQ.
ASOS will spend £40million on expanding the operation over the next three years, and their employees will total 4,000 by 2020.
This is more good news for the London digital economy following Google and Facebook’s recent London expansion announcements.
ASOS chief executive Nick Beighton stated: "The decision today is nothing to do with Brexit. These plans had been put together pre-June 23. ASOS is a mixture of fashion, technology, creative and design capability all in one place. There are very few places where you get that hotspot of those talents in one place so London's very good for that."
