FEMALE CONSUMERS NEED MORE ENGAGEMENT

The Drum report on a new survey by lifestyle platform Bloglovin which highlights that 61% of women need an emotional connection to be established before they will engage with a sponsored post.

More than 20,000 women completed the survey and the results make interesting reading for retailers who are targeting females. The report states that brands need to plan the use of sponsored posts and influencers as their target audience is now savvy enough to know its effectively an advertorial, and authenticity is the key to success.
