Retail technology startup Your Style Lab introduces Shop Coach with real time personal advice now available via smartphone. Mobile customers are now able to receive style and shopping advice, anytime & anywhere. Consumers are recommended relevant items during an interactive chat and decide if they want to purchase. With Your Style Lab the customer is in charge.
Omni channel personal style advice
There are already services in the market which sent out boxes with outfits to their clients, however real-time one-to-one interactive and enriched advice is relatively new. Your Style Lab developed software which makes this possible for all online fashion retailers. The ‘Shop Coach’ white label tool offers the opportunity of an interaction, which enables conversation through video and visual content. “Consumers now expect personal and relevant advice on demand”, says Chantal Poiesz, co-founder of Your Style Lab.
Higher conversion rates
The first pilots resulted in 20% conversion rates, which is approximately 10x the average conversion rate in online fashion. Your Style Lab now introduces a version for the smartphone generation. Poiesz said: “This way we create an Omni channel approach and leave it up to the customers when and where they want to receive shopping and style advice.”
Automated and Personal
The intelligent Shop Coach tool learns more and more based on an algorithm and personal advice is delivered via professional stylists. Poiesz: “We are convinced that the right combination of chatbot technology and personal advice will create value for consumers who are looking for the right fashion item. And as is true for any good relationship, we will learn to get to know our customers better over time”.
